About us

Our history

Sector Matters was established by the Northern Ireland Council for Voluntary Action (NICVA) in November 2009.  NICVA was founded in 1938 and is the representative and umbrella body for the voluntary and community sector of Northern Ireland.

Sector Matters was set up in response to a need identified in the voluntary and community sector, for cost-effective Human Resource, Finance and related outsourced support services.
